Tower emergency course successfully completed by air traffic controllers of Kazaeronavigatsia

This is the name of the international course on professional training, where air traffic controllers receive additional knowledge for working in non-standard and emergency situations during air traffic management. The practical part was held at the Academy of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) in Ankara. 10 air traffic controllers of Kazaeronavogatsia went to the capital of Turkiye to improve their professional skills. The training took place on unique 3D simulators with a 360-degree view, simulating a real control tower.

Air traffic controller-instructor Emir Zaiyrbayev shared that they are the first group from Kazakhstan sent to Ankara for courses on actions in non-standard and emergency situations during flight servicing. This valuable knowledge and experience gained at the DHMI Academy will further allow them to ensure air traffic safety at a high level.

Professional training of aviation personnel is one of the areas of activity of Kazaeronavigatsia. The goal is one - the formation and maintenance of the required level of qualification of the Enterprise's employees. The main volume of professional training, which is more than 70%, is carried out on the basis of its own Professional Training Center, about 30% in leading European Aviation training centers.

Over 5 months of 2024, more than 1,800 specialists of the Enterprise completed courses to maintain their professional level and improve their qualifications, of which: 1,742 people in the Professional Training Center, 79 people in foreign centers.

By the way, the Professional Training Center of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE is the only full member in the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program in Central Asia.
