ACJ319neo made the first flight

On 25 April, ACJ319neo aircraft with a CFM LEAP-1A engine (MSN 8612) made the first flight of the duration 1 h 55 min at the Airbus factory, in Hamburg. It will be followed by a series of flight tests, which are necessary for certification of a number of model modifications, in particular, the installation of additional fuel tanks.

Aircraft ACJ319neo is a VIP option of the A319neo passenger version. This aircraft was certified by European and American aviation authorities at the end of December 2018. This certification has opened the way for the operation of the ACJ319neo. Previously, the manufacturer reported that it received nine firm orders for the aircraft of this family: three for ACJ319neo and six for a more capacious version - ACJ320neo.
