FlyArystan is looking for a basis terminal

FlyArystan will select the airport, which will become the basis air terminal, and where two Airbus A320 airliners will be placed, the engineering and technical base and flight crew. This was reported by Kapital.kz, with reference to the press service of the airline.

“The first Kazakhstan lowcoster FlyArystan has announced an open competition among Kazakhstan airports, the winner of which will receive an annual passenger traffic of up to one million people per year, as well as the possibility of opening new flights to 8-10 destinations on domestic and international flights. 18 airports of large and small cities of Kazakhstan will be able to attend in the competition, according to the conditions of which they have to provide the best commercial offer by the end of May current year”, referred to in the report.

The winning city will be able to create hundreds of work places directly at the airport, will have the opportunity to develop local tourism, infrastructure and other related activities, the company noted.

Consideration of applications and announcements of the competition winner is scheduled  for the 2 quarter. Starting works of the winning airport will begin this year, while additional services will be provided to passengers from the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020.
