36th Joint Meeting of the Coordination Group of Experts and the Coordination Council “Eurasia”

In the period from April 23 to 26, 2019, the 36th Joint Meeting of the Coordination Group of Experts and the Coordination Council “Eurasia” was held in Dushanbe (the Republic of Tajikistan).

The meeting was attended by delegations from aeronautical enterprises from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as enterprises and organizations – the permanent observers of the Coordination Council “Eurasia”.

As part of the observers of the Coordination Council “Eurasia”, there were representatives of international organizations in the field of civil aviation - ICAO, IATA, IAC, as well as representatives of enterprises manufacturing air navigation equipment and aviation training centers.

In the period from April 23 to 24, 2019, the meeting of Coordination Group of Experts was held to discuss issues according to the agenda.

From April 25 to 26, 2019 the meeting of the Coordination Council “Eurasia” was held with the participation of heads of ANS enterprises.

Mr. Azat Bekturov, the Director General of the Republican State Enterprise “Kazaeronavigatsia” made a presentation on the current status and development prospects of the air navigation system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For the first time at meetings of the Coordination Council “Eurasia” the round tables were held on the following topics:

- Integration of unmanned aircraft systems in non-segregated airspace;

- Airspace of free routes. The prospects of implementation in the region of the Coordination Council “Eurasia”.

The next 37th meeting of the Coordination Council “Eurasia” is scheduled for September 2019 in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
