On April 18, the coordination exercises on the organization of search and rescue operations in the area of search and rescue in the North Kazakhstan region were held in the Petpropavlsk branch. The exercises involved the rescue services of the airport of Petropavlovsk, by the Aeropract airline, the Petpropavlsk branch. Supervised exercise representatives of the Committee of Civil Aviation and Main Centre of planning of air movement RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia".

According to the scenario, An-2 aircraft, 20 kilometers from the airport of the city of Petropavlovsk, reported on the ignition of the engine and the decision on an emergency landing outside the airport. Duty aircraft VO-105 with rescuers on Board flew to search and rescue passengers. 

The purpose of these exercises was to develop and test skills and improve operational plans, systems of interaction, communication and coordination.

The exercises were successful. Interaction between rescue services of the airport of Petropavlovsk, the crew on duty of the aircraft on search and rescue support of flights, services of Department of internal Affairs and ERTOS of the Petropavlovsk branch and the Coordination center of search and rescue were fulfilled.
