SITA Experts: IT compensate passengers for the deficiency of the happiness hormone

Digital and automated services at the airports make passengers more happy. This conclusion was made by experts of IT-company SITA, states German FVW.
In the course of the online study, more than 7,000 air passengers were interviewed in various countries of the world in order to find out how modern technologies affect their satisfaction with the airport services. It turned out that users of digital or automated services are satisfied with life by 8% more than those who ignore modern trends and prefer personal service of airport or airline employees.
Modern technologies are being introduced into the sphere of air travel deeper and deeper. Turkish airline Sun Express from the end of may will begin to use virtual reality glasses as one of the options for entertainment during the flight. Passengers will be able to use the gadget to enjoy exciting blockbusters with presence effect , meditation rollers for relaxation and other virtual entertainment. All content will be stored directly in virtual reality glasses, passengers do not need WiFi or their own mobile device. The cost of the service is only 8 euros. It will be available on the routes that connect Antalya with Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
