The Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia expand cooperation in the field of safety and aviation security.
Under the coordination of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan is actively working to strengthen international cooperation, including bilateral relations with the aviation authorities of the region.
In order to jointly prepare for flights to the United States, a group of experts of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan headed by Mr. Darkhan Yespotanov, the Deputy Director General for Aviation Security visited the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged experience in the field of state regulation of civil aviation and visited Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Experts discussed the state of the civil aviation industry, analyzed procedures for certification and supervision of safety and aviation security in the operation of aircraft, maintaining airworthiness, licensing of aviation personnel and the aviation security system at Chinggis Khaan International Airport. The Mongolian side expressed interest in modernizing the financing system of the regulator activities, the standardization institute of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, and maintaining the qualifications of aviation inspectors.
In addition, based on the experience of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, the representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia interested in the possibilities of introducing a digital system for supervision and monitoring of safety, recording violations and assessing risks.
Following the visit, representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan agreed to continue and expand cooperation in the field of safety and aviation security.
