The representatives of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE took part in a round table in Urumqi

The delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by Mr. Marat Karabayev, the Minister of Transport, paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China.

As part of the meeting, a round table was held with representatives of about 60 Kazakh and Chinese companies. Specialists from “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE also took part in it. During the discussion of cooperation issues in the transport and logistics industry, a number of comprehensive measures were developed and proposed, such as: opening additional border checkpoints, as well as strengthening systematic work between transport companies of the two countries.

Also, as part of a working trip to the People's Republic of China, the head of the Ministry of Transport of the republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of the air ports of Astana and Almaty visited Urumqi Diwopu International Airport. Colleagues from China presented the program for the development of the air harbor in the border region of the PRC, and also demonstrated the work of the air traffic management Bureau.

Today, there are 28 airports in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. Urumqi Airport is the leading airport in the region. Over the past year, its specialists served 26 million passengers.
