The pilot Alexander Shavrov flew four thousand kilometers and landed on the square in the city of Verny, which is now called Almaty.
March 30, 1919 in the city of Verny (since 1921 - Alma-ATA, 1993-Almaty) flew the first in its history plane called "Conbur".
The first four thousand kilometers flight in the history of aviation: on the route Samara — Orenburg - Aktyubinsk - Tashkent - Grozny - Verny was made by pilot Alexander Shavrov on a biplane. The flight speed reached 200 kilometers per hour at an altitude of seven thousand meters.
After landing, Alexander Shavrov in his report said that all these flights were done as part of operational mission. The device has passed the route successfully and at the end of the flight is frayed and needs repair.
Therefore March 30, 2019 can be called the date of the 100 years old history of Almaty aviation, and pilot Alexander Shavrov - the founder of aviation in the southern and South-Eastern regions of Kazakhstan.
