The first female air traffic controllers started working in Saudi Arabia

The first eleven female air traffic controllers began work at Jeddah airport in Saudi Arabia, according to Monday's edition of Saudi Gazette.

Previously, they all passed the first of its kind training program that prepares women to work as air traffic controllers in the Kingdom. Fifteen other Saudi women are currently undergoing similar training.

"The company has employed women in various fields to contribute to the "Vision 2030" and to increase the participation of Saudi women in the labor market", — said , chief Executive officer of Saudi Air Navigation Services of Ryan Trabzon at the ceremony.

The reform program of crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman "Vision 2030" (Saudi Vision 2030) is aimed at reducing the dependence of the country's economy on oil, the development of private sectors of the economy, including health, education, infrastructure, recreation and tourism.
