Preparation of flight and technical personnel for mi-171A2 operation has been completed in Kazakhstan

The Mi-171A2 is the most modern modification of the Mi-8/17. The aircraft is equipped with new VK-2500 engines with a digital control system, as well as an effective carrier system with composite blades and an improved aerodynamic profile.

Training center of Ulan-Ude aviation plant (U-UAZ) of the Russian Helicopters holding has completed training of the first group of foreign specialists in management and maintenance of the Mi-171A2 helicopter — pilots and engineering personnel of the Kazakhstan state ADMINISTRATION have been trained.

Foreign experts studied the aerodynamics of the Mi-171A2, the design and technical operation of the helicopter, its aviation and electronic equipment, as well as the VK-2500 engine (with a digital control system) and the APU.
