The 19th Air Navigation Coordination Commission session of the Interstate Aviation Committee in Baku

In the period from April 3 to 5, 2019, the delegation of the RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia” took part in the 19th Coordination Commission session for Air Navigation of the Interstate Aviation Committee in Baku (Azerbaijan).

The main topic of the session is “Innovative technologies in air navigation and meteorological support of flights”.

Chiefs and experts of air navigation and meteorological services, research institutes, research and production centers and associations, as well as States Parties educational institutions to the Civil Aviation Agreement attended the meeting.

The Air Navigation Coordination Commission noted that the implementation by States Parties of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and the use of airspace of innovative technologies in ATM is aimed at increasing the efficiency of air traffic management in behalf of all airspace users and maintaining an acceptable level of flight safety.

According to the coordination committee on air navigation work results, relevant decisions were made, which will be published on the official website of the Interstate Aviation Committee (mak-iac.org).

The session participants have noted the high organization of the meeting, informative and interesting presentations.

Also, the Kazakhstan delegation visited the aviation-training center and got acquainted with the latest developments of air navigation in the automated systems of air navigation and meteorology area.
