More than 50 flights canceled due to software problems at the Frankfurt Airport

At the Frankfurt am Main airport, 54 flights canceled due to software problems in the German Air Traffic Control Service (DFS). The newspaper Frankfurter Neue Presse, with reference to the Fraport airport management representative, reports this.
At the same time, Lufthansa announced the cancellation of 50 flights, which could adversely affect more than 4 thousand passengers. On March 25, DFS announced a 25% reduction in airport capacity for air traffic safety.
Software malfunction occurred on March 21. It is noted, that the problem is caused by a failure in the electronic display system of control bands.
