The Russian aircraft maintenance service provider - S7 Technics completed the first heavy forms on the aircrafts of the leading Kazakhstani air carrier, Air Astana.
The cooperation of two companies started in spring 2016. Three years later, S7 Technics one of the main partners of Air Astana airline’s fleet for technical support. Meanwhile, this cooperation can be further developed, as Air Astana is interested in a strong partner for the development of its own production base.
Novosibirsk S7 Technics specialists completed the first C-check form on a Boeing 767-300 aircraft (P4-KEA registration number; released in 2013) by Air Astana in mid-February. This became possible after the Russian provider won an open tender last summer. According to the results, the Kazakh carrier, who had never trusted maintenance of its aircraft to providers from Russia before, concluded a five-year contract for carrying out heavy forms with S7 Technics.
