Kazakhstan and Spain plan to establish direct flight connection

In Madrid, the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Spain held talks on air traffic connection between the countries, Kazinform reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK.

The Civil Aviation Committee, in accordance of Elbasy instructions, is constantly working to expand the transport ability of Kazakhstan and the Nur-Sultan city.

Following the talks, Talgat Lastayev, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK, signed a relevant intergovernmental document,  that creates the legal basis for direct regular flights between Kazakhstan and Spain.      Thus, designated airlines of both sides were entitled to operate 7 regular passenger and combined flights a week on any type of aircraft, as well as 7 regular cargo flights a week on any type of aircraft.

However, designated airlines got the right to enter into code-sharing agreements between themselves and among third-country airlines.

A distinctive feature of this document,  for the first time, Nur-Sultan city is included as an authorized item in similar documents.

The Kazakh and Spanish airlines plans to open flights between Kazakhstan and Spain.
