By 2035, Kazakhstan's air transportation market will increase twice

The Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID (Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development) RK ­conducts a systematic work for forming public interest in aviation issues in Kazakhstan. Also, work is underway to update the industry personnel and attracting young people to the aviation professions.

Within this activity, the committee members organize meetings of aviation retirees and operating pilots with young people. In order to popularize the civil aviation industry specialties, an open information lesson was held among pupils of schools No. 81 of Astana city and No. 1 of Kosshy village. During the lesson, the students showed great interest to pilot profession, engineer and air traffic controller. Acting pilots, state aviation inspectors shared their personal experience with the students in school. The aviators’ stories aroused the lively interest of students and many questions were asked at the meetings.

According to the forecast data of aviation industry international experts, by 2035, the air transportation market of Kazakhstan  will develop steadily and grow twice, which will require the involvement of additional personnel and young professionals.

In order to form a personnel reserve of domestic civil aviation specialists, the committee will continue to practice such events.
