Specialists of the Safety management and quality Department have been trained at the Eurocontrol Institute for Air Navigation under the “Contingency measures and crisis management [GEN-CTG] program
From 6 to 7 March 2019, three specialists from the Safety management and quality Department of the Enterprise were trained at the Eurocontrol Institute for Air Navigation under the “Contingency measures and crisis management [GEN-CTG]” program in accordance with ICAO standards and recommended practices (Annex 11 to the ICAO Convention on International Civil Aviation), EASA regulatory requirements, regarding the processes of developing and updating Action Plan for organization of air traffic in case of unforeseen circumstances related to infringement of air traffic services.
This course provided a basis for development of emergency response measures in the provision of air navigation services. The aspects of safety and continuity of operations in major emergencies were also considered, based on EUROCONTROL Emergency Planning Guidelines for Air Navigation Services. The issues of risk assessment were considered extensively, as well as important safety issues which may arise in a crisis situation.
At the end of the course, our specialists have received certificates of attendance.
