The ICAO Provisions, that came into force in November 2018 are developed to support the required (expected) transition to full-scale operation in the area of AIM (Aeronautical Information Management) based on System Wide Information Management (SWIM) principles.

Such a transition to AIM/SWIM is impossible without the creation of a new system, the operation will make it possible to exchange digital aeronautical data and information, using means of the aeronautical information exchange model (AIXM) on global and European principles.

In the period from 4 to 14 December 2018, in the conference hall of the central office, a group of 6 people of the AIM department successfully completed training and received certificates for AIXM Basic/Advanced (Aeronautical information exchange model) from GroupEAD Europe S.L.
