Air Traffic Controller was held in RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”

The solemn meeting dedicated to the International Day of the Air Traffic Controller was held on the 19^th of October in RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”.

In his report, Mr. Shulembekov S. A., the Director of the Air Traffic Management Department, spoke about the importance of the air traffic controller profession and achievements, and also formulated plans and goals for the future.

Due to the high professionalism of air traffic controllers and other specialists: engineers, technicians, designers and their enormous responsibility for the results of work, our Enterprise has achieved great results.

The aeronautical system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which meets international requirements, is considered one of the most advanced and contemporary air navigation systems in the CIS.

Today, “Kazaeronavigatsia” provides air traffic on 92 airways with  total length of 84 thousand km. On average, about 250 thousand flights are serviced by our air traffic controllers per year, during peak periods, more than 700 aircraft are controlled daily.

All our projects and tasks are aimed at ensuring a high, qualitative level of air navigation services, the efficiency of air traffic controllers, and most importantly - ensuring safety.

During the solemn meeting, a number of employees of the Enterprise with many years of experience in the air traffic management service were awarded certificates of honour and letters of gratitude from the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Director General of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE.

The solemn event ended with a small concert.
