Pledge of reliability and serviceability of equipment - proper operation and timely maintenance!

The annual maintenance plans are made to operating equipment, these works are carried out by engineers of radiotechnical communications and navigational equipment service and meteorological service.

Such annual maintenance and software update was carried out last week by the representative of “NITA” LLC together with the engineers of the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network of radiotechnical communications and navigational equipment service on the equipment of broadcast automation facility complex – KSA IV “AMetIST”. KSA IV “AMetIST” provides airspace users with meteorological and operational information on the aerodrome for arriving and departing aircraft as well as contributes to the timely provision of actual and forecasted weather for alternate aerodromes, en-route and on flight area.

To perform these tasks and to ensure reliable operation of the complex, the services perform timely maintenance, which helps to prevent possible emergencies and prevents the failure of expensive equipment.
