The representative of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) got acquainted with the development prospects of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE

On October 17, the Regional Director of the European and North Atlantic Bureau of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Nicolas RALLO, visited the “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE to familiarize himself with the activities of the Enterprise.

 During the visit, the prospects for the development of the Enterprise's activities, as well as issues of further co-operation with ICAO were discussed. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Lastayev, management and employees of the “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE.

As part of this meeting, were visited the facilities of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE, such as the Center for Automated Air Traffic Control System, as well as the Main Center of Air Traffic Flow Management. The management of the “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE informed about the work being carried out and the progress of implementing tasks to ensure safety in air traffic services.

The level of safety in Kazakhstan meets ICAO standards, which also meets the standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The level of compliance of the air navigation system of the Republic of Kazakhstan with ICAO standards in 2021 showed a significant increase from 87% to 95%.

Background: The European and North Atlantic Bureau of ICAO promotes and monitors the implementation of ICAO provisions in 56 states, out of 193 ICAO member states. It is the largest Bureau of the 7 regional bureaus in the ICAO structure.
