Kazakhstan and Luxembourg signed a memorandum on regular air service

In accordance with the memorandum, it is planned to triple the number of weekly transit flights through Astana.

A meeting of the 77th flight of the cargo airline Cargolux took place at the Astana International Airport. According to international tradition, the arriving plane was passed through the water arch.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Talgat Lastayev, the Director General of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE Nurzhan Akhmetov and the Chairman of the Board of "Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport" JSC Yergazy Zholdasov , as well as the top management of Cargolux, who arrived in Kazakhstan on their first official visit.

As part of this event, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE, Cargolux and "Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport" JSC.

Cargolux Airlines International S.A. founded in 1970 in Luxembourg. It is Europe's largest cargo carrier, operating 30 Boeing 747s and flying to more than 50 destinations around the world. More than 2.5 thousand employees work in 75 offices of the company. Cargolux is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
