The World Air Sports Federation introduces a new type of competition in 2018

             The Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) (The World Air Sports Federation) plans to introduce a new type of aviation combat - Air Games Tour. The first competition of this type should be held as early as 2018. Air Games Tour - a new project FAI, the debut of which is to take place in the second half of 2018, implies an annual intensive air competition within 4 days. Every subsequent competition is planned to be held in the country of the winner of previous competition. Such a formula of events is designed to replace the gap between the World Aeronautical Olympic Games held every five years. In favor of such a decision says the sporting and organizational success of FAI World Air Games 2015 in Dubai. Then in these, extremely successful competitions, almost 1000 pilots took part. Within two weeks they competed among themselves in 20 different aviation disciplines. Reports from the competitions were conducted by 42 channels in 115 countries.
