Kazakhstani delegation took part in the ICAO events
In the period from May 1 to May 5 in Samarkand city, the Republic of Uzbekistan, two very important events were held under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization - ICAO:
- 6th Meeting of the ICAO Air Navigation Services Implementation Support Group related to the activity of the ICAO Task Force on Implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices in the Field of Air Navigation Services;
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management (UTM), U-Space, Urban Air Mobility Workshop.
The meeting chaired by the representative of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE Kairat Tlenshin was attended by representatives of ICAO, Eurocontrol, IATA, the US FAA, international organization of civil air navigation services enterprises, international advisory and analytical agency «Flight safety», research and production association «RTS Kursir», the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Uzbekistan. There are about 50 people.
The following issues were considered at the ICAO meeting:
- information messages from the European/North Atlantic office of ICAO on approved and proposed amendments to the annexes of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and ICAO documents regulating the rules of the air and air navigation services;
- detailed information and statistics collected on the basis of the analysis of voluntary reports of aviation incidents of Eurocontrol (Eurocontrol Voluntary Air Traffic Management Incident Reporting);
- State reports on significant operational improvements in air traffic management, aeronautical information management, meteorological flight support, radio technical flight support, aerodrome operations, aviation search and rescue;
- issues of interaction and interoperability at the national, regional and interregional levels;
- and others.
The ICAO meeting and special workshop in Samarkand included the critical issues of the block upgrade of the ASBU aviation system. ASBU is part of the ICAO Global Air Navigation Plan and includes the issues of building interconnected automated air traffic control systems, airport and aerodrome systems, meteorological flight support, aeronautical information services, frequency spectrum allocation, search and rescue, avionics equipment, environmentally friendly schemes for climbing and descending , strategic and tactical flight planning to avoid overloading ATS units and much more, covering the entire aviation system.
