Major foreign air carriers CargoLux and Turkish Airlines Cargo are planning cooperation with Astana Airport

In recent years, Astana Airport has been actively implementing the program in accordance with the developed master plan for the creation of a multimodal, trade and logistics hub based on the airport. As part of this work, audits of major cargo carriers such as CargoLux and Turkish Airlines have been successfully passed. These companies plan to start their work in the near future.

 Program for the implementation of regular flights of these carriers will begin in May.

The airport is modernizing both the infrastructure and buying specialized equipment for maintenance, especially for preparation for winter operations, including non-standard methods and approaches for this task. In particular, for the prompt passage of the audit of technical companies, a contract was concluded and used de-icing machines were supplied. With the advent of these equipment, the airport was able to save anti-icing fluid by at least 40%.
