Air China resumes flights to Kazakhstan

From April 21, 2023, Air China plans to start operating direct passenger flights with a frequency of 3 times a week on the route Beijing - Xi'an - Astana (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Flights will be operated on Airbus-A320 type aircraft. In turn, from the Kazakh side, Air Astana from June this year plans to increase the number of flights operated on the routes Astana - Beijing from 1 to 2 times, Almaty - Beijing from 6 to 7 times and Almaty - Chengdu from 1 to 2 times a week. Thus, the number of flights between the countries will be increased from 13 to 19 flights per week, including the Chinese airline "China Southern Airlines" on the routes Astana - Urumqi 2 times and Almaty - Urumqi 3 times a week. The opening of new routes and increase  the number of flights between Kazakhstan and China will contribute to the further development of tourism, cultural, investment and business cooperation between the countries.
