New meteorological equipment station MAWS201M was installed in Petropavlovsk branch of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE

At Petropavlovsk aerodrome, an automatic weather station MAWS201M was installed as a reserve, with a set of current weather and visibility sensors PWD22M, wind parameters sensors WMS-302M, cloud base height meters CL31, temperature and humidity sensors HMP155, atmospheric pressure, manufactured by Vaisala Oyj Finland.

The system is powered by the electric main or a built-in solar panel. There are backup batteries that provide at least 7 days of operation without recharging.

MAWS201M station has software that automatically displays digital and graphic data, performs data quality control and formats data for output, archives and transfers data for further processing.
