The representative of the "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE took the medal place in the winter triathlon championship Qysqy triathlon

Last Sunday, February 26, 2023, Astana hosted the Qysqy triathlon winter triathlon championship, organized by Astana Akimat and the Triathlon Federation.

Despite the windy and frosty weather, athletes from Astana, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions, as well as citizens of France, Germany and Great Britain took part in the competition.

The difference between the winter triathlon and the classic summer triathlon is that the last swimming stage in the summer triathlon is substituted by cross-country skiing in the winter.

Having successfully overcome all three stages: running, cycling and cross-country skiing, Serayev Khamet, head of human recourses and social issues division, took the honorable 2nd place in his category.
