American passengers can use free Wi-Fi on board

The American Delta Air Lines intends to implement free Wi-Fi on their flights. From February 1, 2023, free high-speed Wi-Fi will be available to all the customers on most domestic flights.

According to the airline, the service will be available in more than 700 aircrafts by the end of 2023, and in one year's time, the free Wi-Fi will be available on international and regional flights. The Delta CEO Ed Bastian emphasized that the cost of Wi-Fi will not be included in the total price ticket or other fees. The company has invested more than $1 billion in the latest technology.

It should be noted, the service is also provided by other airlines, but the Wi-Fi cost is included in the ticket price. Previously, European airlines announced that 5G wireless connection will be provided on their board, allowing passengers to make calls and use the Internet during flight
