A new service will be tested at Munich Airport

The monitoring system at Munich International Airport is one of the best systems in Germany. Despite this fact, the airport's leadership has launched a new service called the Express Queue booking system for the purpose of improving the customer's personalised service.
Munich Airport needs to introduce an intelligent monitoring system that will effectively manage the traffic flow before checkpoints at Terminal 1, thereby reducing the waiting time in the airport. Those, flying outside the Schengen zone, have the opportunity to test a new service: get a 30-minute free express access to security checkpoints and passport control.
Passengers can book the Express Queue on the official website of Munich Airport. After check-in, passengers should scan the QR code from the booking form and proceed directly to the control point through a separate entrance. The same QR code provides a quick access to passport control. The new system will be working in test mode within two months. The further fate of the Express queues will be determined for testing results.
