The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development is working to further increase the number of flights and expand the flight geography to / from Kazakhstan.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Civil Aviation Committee held negotiations with the aviation authorities of Turkey on air communication between Kazakhstan and Turkey, as a result of which an agreement was reached to double the number of routes and flights.
As a result of this work, the “Turkish Airlines” plans from November 20 of this year. start performing regular passenger flights on the Almaty-Ankara route with a frequency of 2 flights a week on Tuesdays and Sundays on A-320 and B-737 type aircraft.
In addition, from December 5 this year Turkish Airlines plans to launch a new flight between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Turkey, the cities of Astana and Ankara, with a frequency of 2 flights a week on Mondays and Wednesdays on aircraft of the A-320 and B-737 types.
The increase in flights and the expansion of the flight geography will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, investment and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
