Hyper Sting will be able to operate from London to New York in 80 minutes

Spanish inventor Oscar Vinnals claims that his latest development is capable of carrying passengers across the Atlantic Ocean at three times the speed of sound. Thus, the journey from the capital of Great Britain to New York will last only 80 minutes.

The Hyper Sting aircraft is twice as fast and is double the size of the current record holder Concorde, which was managed to operate across the Atlantic with passengers in two hours and 53 minutes. Having a length of 100 meters, Hyper Sting will be able to operate from 130 to 170 passengers at a maximum speed of 4,286 km/h. Meanwhile, the commercial aircraft currently flies at speeds of 750 to 900 km/h.

The fastest commercial passenger aircraft will be powered by two next-generation ramjet engines and four next-generation hybrid turbojets. And one of the most important questions is the financial viability of the project.
