China certified its first narrow-body airlcraft

According to the Xinhua news agency, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has certified the China's first C919 narrow-body aircraft.

The C919 aircraft was created by the state corporation Commercial Aircraft Corp of China Ltd. (Comac) and means the end of testing, thereby enabling the Comac to supply aircrafts to their customers. In addition, the company will also have to obtain CAAC certification for the mass production and airworthiness certificates for each aircraft.

It is known, that China Eastern Airlines will acquire the first C919 airliner before the end of 2022. In total, 28 Chinese companies placed 815 orders for the supply of C919 airliners.
