Air communication between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Maldives

Within the framework of the 41st session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a legal framework was created for the operation of regular flights between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Maldives. Previously, due to the lack of a legal framework between countries, only charter flights were operated.

On the part of the Maldives, the document was signed by Mrs. Aishat Nakhula, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, on the part of Kazakhstan, by Mr. Talgat Lastayev, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee. The agreement provides for the possibility to perform 7 regular flights per week for each side.
