New passenger screening system introduced at the Bangkok airport

As of September 1, Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport has activated a new Passenger Screening System (PVS) as part of an overall security upgrade and service improvement.

Suvarnabhumi is the main international gateway in Thailand. The implemented PVS system is an important improvement that will enhance passenger and staff safety. The system provides accurate passenger screening and prevents unauthorized persons from entering the controlled and restricted areas, which will also help prevent the reuse of boarding passes.
