The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the aviation authorities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is working to resume regular passenger flights between Kazakhstan and Vietnam.

Thus, the largest Vietnamese airline “Vietjet Air” plans to start regular passenger flights on the routes Cam Ranh - Nur-Sultan and Cam Ranh - Almaty with a frequency of 2-3 times a week, starting from the end of September this year by Airbus A-330 type aircraft.

The resumption of air communication between Kazakhstan and Vietnam will accelerate the development of trade, economic, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the countries.

“Vietjet Air” is Vietnam's low-cost air carrier. The airline began operating flights in 2007. It operates international flights to 10 countries of the world (Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Japan and India) on more than 19 routes. The airline's fleet includes 78 aircraft of Airbus A320, A321, A321neo, A330 types.
