Airbus has presented a new revolutionary aircraft

On June 15^th, the European manufacturer Airbus presented its latest A321XLR airliner that will revolutionize the long-haul aviation market. The first test flight lasted about 4.5 hours.

A321XLR is a narrow body aircraft. Airbus extended the range of the new model from 6,500 km to 8,700 km by modifying the aircraft's design and adding the fuel tanks. The new modification was designated as the XLR, which is an acronym for Extra Long Range. A321XLR can stay in the air for 11 hours by operating passengers from Kyiv to New York or from London to Seattle without intermediate stops for refueling.

The main advantage of the airliner is fuel efficiency and small passenger capacity. The comfortable layout of two classes is 140-170 passengers. Airbus will complete the certification of the new airliner by 2024.
