Domestic airlines transported 2 million passengers on domestic routes in January-April 2022 (in 2021 - 2.2 million people, in 2020 - 1.2 million people), on international routes - 622 000 passengers (in 2021 - 468 000 people, in 2020 - 431 000 people).

In particular, the passenger traffic of Air Astana is amounted to 1.1 million passengers, FlyArystan - 761 000 passengers, SCAT - 630 000 passengers. The number of passengers served was 5.1 million at the airports, comprising over 9% of the traffic than in the previous year (2021 - 4.7 million, 2020 - 3.3 million).

Currently, domestic flights are operated by 5 domestic airlines on 57 routes with a frequency of 605 flights per week. International flights are operated to 27 countries on 99 routes with a frequency of 433 flights per week, including Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, South Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Armenia, Great Britain, Maldives, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, India, Iran , Czech Republic, Greece (since June 1) and Italy (since June 12 ).
