The fastest passenger aircraft in the world commenced a flight testing

According to Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier, the new Global 8000 has been already created and will be the world's fastest and longest-range business jet. The aircraft will be designed for 19 passengers, a flight range is 14,800 kilometers. The Global 8000 will be operated in 2025.

The Global 8000 is not the only supersonic aircraft that is currently being developed by producers in different countries. Last year, United Airlines announced that their super-fast flights will be operated in 2029, thereby ordering 15 aircrafts.

Meanwhile, Colorado-based Boom Supersonic is completing ground testing of the Overture's X-B1, designed for 65-88-persons and intended for flights primarily across the ocean.
