International air operations will be returned to or even exceed the pre-pandemic level by 2023, despite the China's closed market. This forecast was made by the Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) William Walsh, TASS writes.
“Airlines will be gradually transformed on markets, so the Chinese market is not a key issue at this stage. There are many accessible markets where companies might develop a rapid increase in their activity. We believe that passenger traffic will be resumed to the level of 2019 in next year, although it was previously predicted that this could happen only in 2024,” William Walsh stated.
