Hard to learn, easy to fight

Since 2020, students of the Civil Aviation Academy have been conducting training flights at the Aulie-Ata aerodrome in Taraz. The Zhambyl ATM Service of the RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia" provides control over these flights.

Operating flights from dusk till dawn, cadets perform pre-flight training, read about prohibitions and restrictions, study meteorological information in the area of ​​the aerodrome and along the route.

Training flights are operated on the route such as Taraz-Shymkent and Taraz-Turkestan. In this purpose, four specific zones were allocated at the aerodrome, whereby cadets continue practicing their flight skills. Training aircraft Diamond-42 regularly operates for ILS training.

At the same time, a controller manages four Piper-20 aircrafts, except for other aircrafts. Aircrafts operate 40 flights per hour, whereby the maximum number of takeoffs and landings is 70 flights.

Thus, the workload has been significantly increased for air traffic controllers, but enable them to practice their skills.
