The number of passengers carried by Kazakh airlines increased by 5% compared to previous year, counting about1.9 million people within 3 months. In addition, the indicator of the pre-pandemic period has been increased by 17%.

In January-March 2022, 1.5 million people were transported on domestic routes (in 2021 - 1.7 million people, in 2020 - 1.1 million people), 500 thousand people were transported on international routes (in 2021-400 thousand people, in 2020-400 thousand people), whereby the passenger traffic of Air Astana was amounted to 800 thousand people, FlyArystan and SCAT - 500 thousand passengers.

Local airports served 3.7 million people during this period, an increase of 2% compared to the previous year (2021 - 3.6 million people, 2020 - 3.3 million people).

Currently, domestic flights are operated by 5 domestic airlines on 57 routes with a frequency of 613 flights per week. International flights are operated to 24 countries on 77 routes with a frequency of 319 flights per week, including Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, South Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Armenia, Great Britain, Maldives, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Mongolia, India and Iran.
