On 12 June, direct flights will be launched between Milan and Almaty

Under existing agreements between the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Aviation Authorities of Italy, direct regular flights will be launched between two countries.
Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Saltanat Tompiyeva participated in a meeting with Italian representatives of the NEOS airline, during which they signed an agreement regarding the opening of international flights between Almaty and Milan.
On 12 June, regular flights on the Milan-Almaty-Milan route will be operated by Boeing 737 and 787 aircrafts with a frequency of 2 flights per week (on Mondays and Thursdays).
In addition, the parties highlighted the importance of direct flights, thereby furthering the trade and investment cooperation, tourism industry and cultural cooperation among states.
