A meeting of the top management of CAC with representatives of IATA was held

On April 20, 2022 Mr. Talgat Lastayev, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with Mr. Funda Chalyshar, the Regional Manager for Turkey, Central Asia and Azerbaijan of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The cooperation issues between the Civil Aviation Committee and IATA, including issues of the pandemic impact, the industry recovery and the resumption of international flights, as well as the issues of amending the three-letter codes of airports in Kazakhstan have been discussed on the meeting.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue further cooperation.

The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
