Best airlines were awarded by Prague Airport

Following the example of major international air hubs, Prague Airport decided to award the best airlines of the previous year. Smartwings, the largest Czech airline operating intra-European and Middle Eastern flights, has won the title of the fast-growing carrier at Prague Airport. The title of the most efficient carrier in terms of passenger traffic went to Brussels Airlines.

In 2022, there will be more nominations and winners in two categories. For example, the most sustainable carrier will be determined based on three criteria, including: noise and emissions from aircraft operating at Prague Airport, airline commitments and sustainability activities. Another new award "Best Marketing Campaign at Prague Airport" will be awarded for joint actions in cooperation with Prague Airport. Results in all four categories will be announced in 2023.
