The new terminal of Almaty International Airport will be completed in 2024

A new international airport terminal is being built in Almaty. Construction will be completed in 2024, inform.kz writes.

“We consider it necessary to preserve the historical heritage of the VIP terminal building. This issue is being carefully considered. Five million dollars were invested in the terminal building. More than one million dollars will be spent on the airport's security system. Construction works at the Almaty International Airport is already underway”, said Ersoy Alp Er Tunga, the President of Almaty International Airport.

It should be noted, the airport will not suspend operations during the construction. The company is investing more than $200 million in the project.
