German charter carrier re-branded

Created on 18.04.2022 08:42

German charter carrier Condor, servicing popular holiday destinations, conducts scale rebranding in order to create a sustainable tourism association.

In November 2020, the airline emerged from bankruptcy protection legislation, where it had been for over a year, following the bankruptcy of partner Thomas Cook. The carrier was supported by short-term loans and anti-crisis assistance from the German government in the amount of 550 million euros to overcome the consequences of the pandemic.

The concept of the new corporate style was developed by the Berlin agency Vision Alphabet. The vision was inspired by beach umbrellas, towels and sun loungers decorated with stripes of yellow, blue and green as a distinctive design element. According to the agency, the stripes should be associated with a beach holiday. Besides, uniforms of flight attendants, airline signs at the airport, blankets, glasses, boarding passes and other accessories were also revised. Approximately 80% of the aircrafts will be repainted into new liveries by 2024 under planned maintenance.
