From July 14, the local carrier Air Astana will increase the frequency of flights to South Korea, as reported by Tengritravel.kz. Flights will be operated from Almaty to Seoul four times a week (on Mondays and Wednesdays) and back (on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Previously, Air Astana has already operated to South Korea two flights a week from June 20, 2020 along with Asiana Airlines (once a week).
From April 1, the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Korea regarding the mutual visa abolition for our citizens has been resumed. It should be noted, the agreement was previously suspended by the South Korean side owing to the COVID-19 pandemic consequences. Thus, Kazakhstan citizens will again be able to enter the Republic of Korea without visas for a period not exceeding 30 days.
