Kazakhstan and Mongolia have launched a direct flight

The Mongolian airline Hunnu Air held an official opening ceremony of a new international flight Almaty - Ulaanbaatar at the airport of the southern capital. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Kazakhstan D.Bayarkhuu, the Head of Hunnu Air P.Monkhzhargal, the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.Lastaev, the General Civil Aviation Agency, the Civil Aviation Department of Mongolia and representatives of the Almaty Akimat.
The participants stated that the new flight will provide an opportunity for citizens, including the large Kazakh diaspora in Mongolia to travel quickly and conveniently between the two countries. Flights are operated weekly on Wednesdays by the E-190 aircraft (capacity 98 seats).
This route will contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation, tourism and business partnership between Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
