Air France has recently announced that flights between the US and Paris will be resumed this summer. In March, Air France intends to resume flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Paris Orly International Airport.
By summer, the airline plans to operate almost 200 transatlantic routes, exceeding the flight plan of 2019 by 20 percent. The company decided to expand routes against the backdrop of the WHO's statement (World Health Organization). According to the WHO, the number of hospitalizations and critical cases is growing slowly while the COVID-19 is still elevated, including Denmark and Sweden that have completely canceled their internal pandemic regulations.
Air France has been increasing the traffic to the USA since November, when Americans reopened their borders for international travelers. Currently, the airline is operating from 11 US airports to Paris.
